Jimmy Barret arrived onto the Nashville scene with catchy, well-crafted, songs and a truly original voice. Featured in Rolling Stone and Country Weekly Magazine and a recent opener for superstars Gretchen Wilson and LeAnn Rimes, his soon-to-be-released debut cd produced by Grammy winner Jay Joyce showcases a variety of sounds--country, alt-country, rock, pop, folk, and combines a little a bit of everything into a fresh, dreamy yet earthly sound.

The cd pulls from a variety of musical influences that range far beyond his years. A Notre Dame grad with good roots (hes a descendant of Texas Alamo hero William Barret Travis), his live shows are high energy explosions.
