Nashville Crawfish Boil

The ultimate outdoor music festival comes to Nashville for the first annual Crawfish Boil. Riverfront Park will be filled with great live music and 20,000 pounds of fresh, Louisiana crawfish when a 20-year Birmingham tradition makes its debut in Nashville. Hinder, Cheap Trick, Papa Roach, Cake, and Fuel promise to make this festival an amazing event – and one not to be missed. The Crawfish Boil will take place on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12, 2007.

Oklahoma-bred fivesome,Hinder, will take the stage to perform a variety of their rock tunes, including one of radio’s most played songs of 2007, “Lips of an Angel,” which reached #1 on the Pop Charts earlier this year. Pop-rock band Cheap Trick will take the stage with a highly entertaining show and a collection of hits including the smash single, “I Want You to Want Me.” Other hits for this Illinois band include “The Flame,” “Dream Police,” and “Surrender.” Papa Roach broke into the mainstream in 2000 with their three-times platinum album Infest, which featured their smash hit “Last Resort.” The group tends to incorporate influences from nu metal and rapcore. Since lovehatetragedy (2002), they moved to rap-devoid sounds like hard rock. Cake has been entertaining audiences for nearly two decades. Their popularity soared during the 90’s, and the band continues to draw large crowds of loyal fans to all their shows. Their biggest hits were “The Distance” and “Never There,” but they bring many more catchy and recognizable songs to the table.
